Yes, this is definite cheese metal and there’s all of your classic ’80s tropes: There’s hot chicks, songs about sex, and a dad making a stray appearance. There’s ‘forbidden love,’ or at least forbidden lust. Huge hair, and a booming sing-along chorus like you got all over MTV at the time
And then there’s the guitar player who later ended up fronting another band called The Marvelous 3 (which was really just this band, minus the lead singer) that had a minor indie hit before he went on as a producer/songwriter for a whole lot of big names that you know and love.
This week, it’s a look back at the cheesiest metal of the big hair era in the 80s and early 90s.
